| For Immediate Release! Greens Converge for Chicago Holiday Party; Three Candidates to Rally at Dank Haus Three of the most prolific local Illinois Green Party candidates combine forces this evening, Dec 15th, for a joint holiday-themed fundraiser at the Dank Haus German Cultural Center, 4740 N. Western Ave. in Chicago (6th Floor). Among the Green Party candidates in attendance will be Matt Reichel, 5th Congressional candidate, Rich Whitney, Gubernatorial Candidate, and Tom Tresser, the founder of No Games Chicago who is now running for Cook County Board President. The event begins at 7:00pm, with speeches commencing at 8:00pm. Matt Reichel says: “Increasingly, Illinois voters are identifying the Green Party as the party that will represent their interests, rather than the interests of corporations and banks. Never have Americans been so angry with Wall Street, and this is undoubtedly going to lead to historic victory for the party next November.” ########################################### |
